New Inventory Spotlight: Barrel, parlor and club chairs

“A chair’s function is not just to provide a place to sit; it is to provide a medium for self-expression. Chairs are about status, for example. Or signaling something about oneself. That’s why the words chair, seat and bench have found themselves used to describe high status professions, from academia to Parliament to the law.” ~ Evan Davis

And we like to express ourselves through gorgeous, unique and eye-catching vintage chairs (and decor)! Check out the three newest additions to the Vintage Ambiance warehouse:

“Sinclair” – 1930’s post deco club chairs.  They are mohair and the caning in the arms is extremely unusual. . . in fact, we have never see anything like it before!

“Greyson” – 1940’s Barrel Chair.  We’ve recovered this chair with this great navy fabric featuring fleur de lis inside wreaths.  We’re on the hunt for a small couch that can be recovered in the same fabric.

“Therese” our  late 1800’s parlor chair covered in stunning teal velvet fabric. She’s just so cute, right?!
