Color Inspiration: Honeysuckle Pink

Their has been some sensational sunsets this summer and it is the inspiration behind this months color inspiration.  This month we’re focusing on Pink, in particular Pantone’s Honeysuckle Pink.

What Pantone has to say:
“A Color for All Seasons. Courageous. Confident. Vital. A brave new color, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It’s a color for every day – with nothing ‘everyday’ about it.”

What Color Psychology has to say:
Pink “represents compassion, nurturing, the feminine principle, hope, romance and love. It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing.”

What we say:
Nothing goes better with these breathtaking Seattle sunsets than a nice chilled glass of Rosè…. another reason why we love pink! A fun, playful and romantic color that suggests youth and sirenity.

How to use it in your decor:
Pink isn’t just for your flowers, think outside the box and try using this playful color in a major way in your decor-accent the bride and groom, groom and groom, or bride and brides, table with a pink velvet sofa!
